The Dikembe Mutombo Foundation provides comprehensive and innovative public health services in Africa to address urgent medical needs and preventable diseases.

Vision

We will involve the global community as we become the leading public health non-governmental organization in Central Africa.

Goal

We will ensure our permanence as an institution with a $50 million endowment by 2020.

Join Us

Mr. Mutombo has contributed more than $20 million of his own money to establish a hospital in his mother’s memory.

The Foundation has also secured support from organizations such as: BD Pharmaceuticals, Clinton Global Initiative, Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, NBA Players Association.

The Foundation has also received contributions of $50,000 or more from Michael Bloomberg and Yao Ming.
